World Can’t Wait Youth Conference

World Can’t Wait is hosting a two-day Youth and Student Conference open to all young people and students who want to bring the horrors of the Bush Regime to a halt! If you were inspired by the “Mission of a Generation” Speaking Tour, want to get more involved in organizing your own school, or want to learn more about World Can’t Wait in general and how you can make a difference, this weekend is for YOU! There will be numerous workshops and special guest speakers. Elizabeth de la Vega will speak on the question of impeachment and Larry Everest, author of “Oil, Power, and Empire,” will speak on the war in Iraq and the threats toward Iran. Step off the sidelines and get into the game! Help plan and develop upcoming events such as the March 18 Anti-War Rally (it coincides with the national March on the Pentagon the day before), March 20 Campus Actions, and future teach-ins and other events….
